As we continue to pray for a quick resolution to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, we can continue to be involved in various ways to offer our support to those in need in Ukraine, both the Jewish and general community.

The Bayit is currently partnering, as a fiscal sponsor,  with the Northwest Bronx Coalition for Refugees (NWBCR) to help resettle an Ukrainian refugee family in the area this November (2022). To find out more and to donate please click here.

Rallies & Gatherings

Standing with Ukraine
We will gather with the community of St. Michael's Ukrainian Church and the Riverdale community at 3:00pm at the Russian Diplomatic Compound, Mosholu Ave. between 255th and 256th St.  Together we will pray for peace, send a message of support to Ukrainians, and oppose Russia's military action.  Please note: This gathering is now monthly on the first Sunday of the month.

Emotional Support

Support in Response to the Conflict in Ukraine
The violent and harrowing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has affected all of us, especially those with ties to these countries. To help people cope with and process the difficult times, the Jewish Board offers individual counseling  to those in need.  Tel: 212-582-9100

We are currently not collecting supplies. Thank you to all of you who donated. Please check back for updates.
