President, Gillian Steinberg

Dr. Steinberg teaches English at SAR High School and has previously served the Bayit as Chair of the Youth Committee, Financial Secretary, Vice President, and now President. She and her husband Mark moved to Riverdale to join the Bayit, and are proud to be raising their two sons, Akiva and Gavri, as part of this amazing community.
Executive Vice President, Jessica Loeser
Jessica was born in Brooklyn, raised in Staten Island, taught in Hebrew school programs while living in Queens, and was President of Stanton Street Synagogue when she lived on the Lower East Side. She moved to Riverdale with her husband and children in 2013, making her one of the few New Yorkers who has been part of Jewish communities in all five boroughs.
Vice President, Bob Santoriello
Bob is an architect in private practice with a specialty in affordable and supportive housing. He and his wife Melanie are the proud parents of Arianna, Gabe and Leora. They have lived in Riverdale and been part of our shul since 2003 and could not possibly imagine being anyplace else.
Vice President, Elliot Halperin
A native of Montreal, Elliot has been living in Riverdale for eight years with his wife Jojo and their two children. Elliot works in the Jewish nonprofit sector. You can often find him at the Shalom Bayit minyan on Shabbat morning.
Treasurer, Daniel Wiener
Daniel works in real estate at Chestnut Holdings and serves on the Bayit's Executive Committee, Finance Committee and as Treasurer. He and his wife Samantha are thankful and proud to raise their family in such a wonderful Bayit.
Recording Secretary, Ilene Paikin
Ilene and her husband Zvi have been active members of the Bayit for 39 years.
Financial Secretary, James Lapin
James has dreamt of a shul like the Bayit for as long as he can remember. He has served as Financial Secretary since 2017. Together with his wife Ann and their three kids, they have lived in Riverdale since 2001 and can't imagine living anywhere else. If James isn't at home, you can probably find him at the Bayit, spending the night at the Tuesday night shelter, hosting our weekly Friday night dinner, or enjoying the annual Super Bowl party.
