In his day job, Shimon Freedman is the Director of Product Marketing at a Tel-Aviv based startup, but during the first eight and a half months following October 7th he was in the IDF reserves at COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories), serving as the unit’s international spokesperson. Shimon previously served as the speechwriter for Israel’s ambassador to the UN and the US. He is a member of the Israeli Bar and has a LLB and an MA in Financial Economics from Reichman University (IDC).
