The New York Blood Center has declared a blood emergency. The heat waves, summer vacations, and never-ending COVID impact have all contributed to a dramatic decrease in blood donations. Blood donors are desperately needed.
We’re once again asking for your help to be a hero and save a life! And what a magnificent way to kick off this holy season with a life-saving mitzvah!

- Donors must be healthy, aged 17-75, 16 with NYBC parental consent form and proof of date of birth.
- Photo ID required.
Donors Upon Arriving:
- Must wear a mask or face covering
- Will have their temperature taken
- Will be asked to show their blood donor card if they have one
- You may NOT donate blood if you have had a positive diagnostic test or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days … or if you are currently on self-quarantine restrictions
Please be aware that we do not test for COVID-19.

Our Blood Drive is dedicated to the memory of the victims of 9/11 terrorist attacks and in the memory of Bayit member Gella Schweid Fishman z"l.
