A delegation from the Lone Soldier Center will be visiting Riverdale the weekend of May 9-12, 2025. We are honored to welcome Liora Rubenstein, CEO of the Lone Soldier Center (LSC), to the Bayit, along with men and women from the LSC.

Please join us on Shabbat Achrei Mot-Kedoshim to hear our guests speak about their experiences leaving their families in the diaspora, joining the IDF, and serving in Israel as lone soldiers.

The Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin is Israel’s first and largest organization dedicated to supporting lone soldiers serving without immediate family support. From enlistment to five years post-service, the Lone Soldier Center provides housing, financial aid, mental health support, and a strong community. Inspired by Michael Levin’s legacy, the Center ensures that every soldier has the care, guidance, and family they deserve.
