Rav Ilay Ofran is the rabbi of ״Kvuzat Yavne״, Israel’s largest religious kibbutz. He is the founder and head of "Mechinat Ruach Hassadeh" - a pre-military Jewish academy for boys, located in Kibbutz Beerot Yitzhak. Rav Ilay holds an M.Sc. in psychology and is a licensed psychologist. His book "תורה של הנפש" explores the stories of the Torah from the perspective of contemporary psychological theories. It was published in 2018 and became a national bestseller.
