The Michael Levin Memorial Lone Soldier Center (www.lonesoldier.com)  provides services and support to the almost 5,700 “Lone Soldiers” serving in the Israel Defense Forces.  Recent immigrants, volunteer soldiers from North America and around the world as well as Israeli orphans with no family support network.  The Center offers Guidance, Social Programs and Logistic support through Shabbat and holiday meals and other social programs,pre-Army prep and guidance, as well as  furniture and housing assistance.  

Ari Kalker, Center Trustee and Josh Flaster, National Leadership Director will be visiting the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, 3700 Henry Hudson Parkway, Bronx, NY 10463 on February 9^th at 5:45pm to discuss the work of the Lone Soldier Center and their vision for the future.  Brief presentation followed by Discussion/Q & A session.
