The Jerusalem Green Fund (JGF) promotes environmental, social, and economic sustainability in and around Jerusalem. Join Naomi Tsur, Founder and Chair of JGF in conversation with Jessica Haller to learn how JGF is fostering public accountability to transform the Jerusalem, making the city greener and healthier for its residents, and to learn how we can support these efforts. Introductions by Alisa Eilenberg.

Naomi Tsur

Naomi Tsur is an Israeli environmentalist, entrepreneur and former Deputy Mayor  of Jerusalem. As Deputy Mayor (2008-2013), Tsur was responsible for strategic planning, environmental protection, sustainability and historic conservation. 

In 2009 Tsur initiated the establishment of a global network bringing together pilgrimage cities and religious communities with the goal of greening both the pilgrim cities and the pilgrims' journeys.

Tsur currently stands at the head of the Israel Urban Forum, and is the founder and Executive Chair of the Jerusalem Green Fund, (www.jgf.org.il) established in 2015. The JGF is a cooperative philanthropy, whose members are actively engaged in its initiatives, while being themselves primary funders through their annual membership contributions.

Jessica Haller

Jessica Haller is climate champion and entrepreneur. She is a Leader and Mentor with the Climate Reality Project, and vice-chair of Hazon. She formerly was a candidate for NYC Council, and is currently the ED of 21in'21. She holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy.

Alisa Eilenberg

Alisa Eilenberg is an Occupational Therapist and Wellness Coach.  She was a founding member of the HIR Green Team and is an environmental advocate.
