Please join us and our friends at CAJAC - The Community Association for Jewish At-Risk Cemeteries on Sunday November 16, weather permitting, as we join together to clean and maintain Silver Lake Cemetery on Staten Island, in our annual Parshat Chayei Sara Community Chesed Day.

We will provide all supplies and equipment but if you'd like to bring your own (whether that be rakes, bags, leaf blowers, or weed whackers) feel free to do so. There are no age requirements, all you need is to be willing to roll up your sleeves and help.

This event is part of the Jewish Social Action Month (JSAM) initiative of UJA-Federation of New York.

Volunteer perform the mitzvah of chesed shel emet by cleaning the cemetery and thereby honoring the deceased.

We have received a donation for funding the transportation for this program.
