Join us on Tuesday,  May 9th at 2:00pm in the Main Lobby for a sign-along with Jonathan Dzik.

Jonathan Dzik received his masters degree in musicology from Queens College and his doctorate in music education from N.Y.U.  
He taught music in secondary schools of New York City for 34 years, leading choirs and ensembles, and as music director of many plays.  He was also music director for plays at S.A.R. Academy, Ramaz, Camp Hillel, the Riverdale Y and other community theaters.  He was music director for Fiddler on the Roof at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall and Damrosch Park.  He conducted the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale Community Choir for 15 years.  He currently gives backstage tours at the Metropolitan Opera House and he teaches a course on opera to retired teachers.  He has been a member of the Hebrew Institute for 50 years, since their days in University Heights.
