This year in addition to honoring two top Bayit blood drive donors - Rabbi Moshe Edleman and Daniel Padwa, we will also be honoring American Friends of Magen David Adom (MDA) for their heroic commitment to save lives in Israel. To American MDA volunteers, who have participated in the overseas program and volunteered in Israel will be joining us at the Blood Drive - Rachel Orloff and Daniel Kopstick.
Children and parents come meet Daniel, Rachel at the Blood Drive. Learn about the important life saving work that medics do, and join story time where they will read a book from "Avi the Ambulance" book series. Rachel will be accompanied by her therapy dog, Charlie, providing her with an opportunity to explain how such specially trained animals assist MDA in helping injured and hospitalized patients.  Adults and children are also welcome to stop by at the Blood Drive to write letters to "MDA Heroes."
