Celebrate Chanukah with the Bayit

12/1 - 12/25 • Chanukah Chai Lifeline Toy Drive

This Chanukah, gift a smile. Send a gift for a sick boy or girl, infants through teens, in any price range. (New toys only. These toys will be given to children who are sick and are undergoing medical procedures). Please drop off new toys at the bottom of the driveway at the designated bins. Lights in the Darkness is a pre-Chanukah bereavement virtual gathering.  Join Rav Steven and Bayit social worker Taylor Britvan for a one hour virtual gathering to remember loved ones who have passed. 
We will draw on the themes of Chanukah to reflect on grief and loss and memory.
Readings, melody and a space for personal sharing.

The Israeli community invites the greater Bayit community to a Chanukah candle lighting celebration with music, Chanukah bingo for children, Divrei Torah and more! Pizza dinner. Cost: $40/household. This Chanukah, UJA is joining Shine A Light to dispel the darkness and to say: enough is enough! We hope you'll participate in this national demonstration of Jewish pride. Join Rav Steven at this event at Times Square: enter at Broadway and 47th St. Highlights include: M.C., Ariel Elias, comedian; Performances by Nissim Black; The Moshav Band; David Herskowitz, Miami Boys Choir alum and TikTok star; and The Ramaz Upper School Choir; An appearance by Montana Tucker, TikTock influencer.

Please join us on Tuesday, December 20th at 2:00pm to celebrate Chanukah with music, donuts, and chocolate gelt. Learn how to make an Origami dreidel. We will meet in the main lobby to play board games and socialize. If there is a specific game you want to play or learn, like chess or bridge; please let us know ahead of time. Please RSVP. Join UJA, Park East Synagogue, and other community partners (including the Bayit) for a Hanukkah concert with Yonina, the Jewish musical duo from Israel who have become a global sensation and performed all over the world. The event will take place at the Park East Synagogue, 164 East 67th Street, New York, NY 10021. Ticket price: $18 (a charitable contribution.) Questions?
