High Holidays Appeal

Dear Bayit Family,

Your support matters. Your participation matters. You matter.

Whether you participate in person, on Zoom or over the phone, you are part of our Bayit, and you matter to us.

Together, we made the most of this challenging Tishrei season, holding firm to our commitment to reopen safely while continuing to connect with those at home. Our upcoming fall and winter programming will focus on deepening community connections, expanded youth programming and opportunities for tefillah, learning, chesed, activism and outreach.

We have been overwhelmed by your expressions of gratitude for the hard work of staff and the willingness of laity to serve in new ways. And now we need your financial support to face the challenges and seize the opportunities ahead.

In a typical year, High Holiday income accounts for 25% of our operating income. This year we must also overcome substantially reduced income from room rentals and other fundraising activities.

Each gift of $18 or more is being matched with a $50 donation by a generous Bayit family.  For those who have given already, thank you. With your help, we are almost 65% of the way to our goal of $400,000, and your 360 gifts are matched by another $18,000. Your continued giving means so much to us.

If you have not made a High Holiday gift, let now be the moment.  Help us achieve 100% participation, at whatever your capacity is. Thank you in advance for giving generously. Click the link above or visit www.thebayit.org/kolnidre to make your gift today.

 B'vracha,

Gillian Steinberg, Rav Steven Exler, Richard Langer
